In separate incidents, an 11-year-old girl went missing from school this week, while a level II alert has been issued for a vanished 13-year-old New Iberia girl and more of this week’s most urgent missing person cases.
Charlotte-Mecklenburg police in North Carolina are searching for a missing 11-year-old girl who was last seen leaving Quail Hollow Middle School in south Charlotte that day at 3:20 p.m. at 2901 Smithfield Church Road, WSOC-TV reports.
Angela Lopez-Ortega is 4 feet, 8 inches tall, has black hair and brown eyes, and weighs 90 pounds. She was last seen wearing a blue button-up shirt with “El Salvador” written on it, a crop-top underneath, black pants, and pink and white Nike sneakers.
Authorities are asking the public for help. Anyone with any information is urged to call 911.
The Louisiana State Police have issued a level II endangered/missing child advisory for a 13-year-old girl reported missing from her residence on Zip Lane in New Iberia. Witnesses reportedly believe it’s possible she is being held against her will.
Bailey Frederick has not been seen after walking away from her home on February 27 at 9 a.m., WDSU reports.
Frederick is a Black female with black hair and brown eyes. She is approximately 5 feet, 6 inches tall, weighs roughly 142 pounds, and was last seen wearing a multi-colored jacket.
According to authorities, Frederick was last seen exiting a gray Dodge Charger or Chrysler 300 on Robertson Street with an older woman. Several witnesses allegedly told police the girl appeared frightened.
The Iberia Parish Sheriff’s Office is asking anyone with any information on Frederick’s whereabouts to contact them at 337-369-3711 or call 911.
A 21-year-old man reported missing on February 13, 2022, has been missing much longer, authorities have learned. Police in Rochester, New York, found through their investigation that D’Zier Brown has not been seen since November 2021, WHEC reported.
Brown is described as an African-American male, standing 6’1″ and weighing roughly 160lbs. He has three distinctive tattoos, including an arm tattoo reading “Blessed,” the word “Dedicated” on his chest, and “Christina” with a rose on his right hand.
Police are desperately seeking the public’s help, asking that anyone with any information call 911.
